If you're thinking about taking the Day Skipper practical course, this is the theory course to go along with it. Laid out over six Sunday sessions to give you time during the week to reflect on the information provided.
Seamanship, coastal navigation and pilotage, chartwork, electronic charts, position fixing, plotting a course to steer, weather forecasting and meteorology, tides, collision regulations.
We strongly believe time in the classroom with other students and our RYA Yachtmaster instructor will give you the strongest result. A highly experienced and qualified instructor will explain many areas of the course more clearly than online courses. Your instructor can answer all our questions who uses a variety of learning styles that will bring the subject matter to life.
The dates for the 6 sessions are:
Oct 29th 2023, Nov 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th and Dec 3rd.Times are 10am to 5.00pm except the 19th Nov which starts at 11.00am.
