Beaulieu Cruise and Beyond

Sat 25th HW1330(BST) 4.4

“Monks, shipbuilding, warfare and tourism… the Beaulieu River takes you on a remarkable journey through history.”

Come and join us in the Beaulieu River, undoubtedly the most beautiful harbour on the mainland side of the Solent. A perfect location for our journey west to Lymington for our final stay on Sunday night

Saturday 25th May Portsmouth to Bucklers Hard

Stansore Point (Beaulieu Entrance) HW 1300(BST) 3.8

Leaving Portsmouth on a west going tide in plenty of time to clear the bar at the river entrance and heading down stream, a beautiful and tranquil spot, well-loved by yachtsmen and nature enthusiasts alike. Bring your own food, a BBQ might be on the cards.

Sunday 26th May Beaulieu to Lymington

Lymington HW 1540(BST) 2.9

Newtown Creek HW 1320(BST) 2.9

A lazy breakfast starts the day and when the lines are stored away, we can head over the bar by 1130 in time for the favourable tide to the west. Maybe a relaxing lunch at Newtown Creek, might be the order of the day. Lymington Yacht Haven will be our destination for the night and dinner in their bistro with a seriously good view from the outside tables upstairs, they also serve a respectable breakfast.

Monday 27th May Lymington to the East

We wake in time for the east tide to take us home or later if you want tp practice staying out of the main stream after it turns against you.

Register as soon as possible so you don’t miss out on this popular cruise
