Operation Neptune by Emily Gillespie, National Trust London and SE Coast Project Manager

In May 1965 the National Trust launched the Neptune Coastline Campaign to protect special areas of coastline under the threat of development. Thanks to the support of hundreds of thousands of people, they have been able to protect 775 miles of coastline across England, Wales and Northern Ireland for people to enjoy and for nature to thrive in.

2015 marked the 50 year anniversary of the project and the launch of the coastal vision. Come and hear about the future plans from the UK's biggest owner of coastline.

 Organiser: Simon Davey
