Training

Channel Sailing Club is an RYA Training Centre and offers a range of RYA shore-based training, including

• Day Skipper
• Yacht Master Coastal
• Radar
• First Aid
• VHF/SRC Radio
• Diesel Engine maintenance
• CEVNI. 
  

Competitively priced, they are delivered at weekends and evenings and for those who want additional support, a homework club operates on a Wednesday evening on some club nights, where more experienced members help those starting out on their sailing careers.

To take part in any of the courses, please enrol as soon as you can....it really helps the course organiser.

Please note that places on all courses are initially provisional. A course will be confirmed when enough applications have been received to cover the fixed costs of running the course. For information on all course general queries about training contact the Training Admin Officer click here

Non-members of CSC are welcome to join the Club if they wish to take part in training courses and, of course, all other club activities, both on and off the water. If you wish to join the club click here

During the winter months we hold a series of informal training sessions and lectures, intended to broaden our knowledge of sailing. 

Through the club's sailing events we seek to provide practical experience for those wishing to develop their skills.
